Quality of Service(QoS)
Quality and responsiveness of service is a major factor for subscribers in deciding to move to a competing service provider.
Poor or inconsistent service can lead to unacceptable customer experience for subscribers leading to reduced revenues for the service providers and in some cases promoting subscribers to switch to an alternative service provider. With Conexon's Quality of Service(QoS) tools, service providers can proactively manage the user experience ensuring the optimal level of service is provided at all times helping ensure customer satisfaction is optimized. Through diagnostics and monitoring tools, Conexon can measure and analyse network and service performance identifying potential problems that could lead to an unacceptable user experience.
Additional tools such as Bandwidth on Demand and Bandwidth Qualifier provide subscribers with the required QoS for using services. With Bandwidth on Demand, Conexon automatically assigns the appropriate level of bandwidth needed for intensive applications such as gaming and VoIP services. This ensures an optimal level of service quality in the delivery of services leading to increased customer satisfaction.
With Bandwidth Qualifier, Conexon automatically checks that a subscriber has the appropriate capacity to handle new bandwidth intensive services. For example, as a subscriber upgrades to higher broadband speeds, Conexon will qualify that the subscriber's PC has the capacity to handle the new service. Again, this gives service providers the ability to deliver an enhanced level of service to its customers.
