Horizontal Based Architecture
Under the Conexon IMS architecture, the procedures for setting up and running services can be reused across multiple IP services, substantially cutting down on the resources, cost and complexity of supporting multiple processes and components. One of the most attractive features of IMS is its common horizontal based architecture used for all services, eliminating the cumbersome and complex "stovepipe" architecture that exists in many networks today.

Provisioning & Management
Conexon is an ideal architecture to take advantage of the functionality and design offered under IMS. With a horizontal based architecture, Conexon uses the same provisioning and management platform for all IP services. There is no need to build out a separate platform for each type. As IMS becomes a more mainstream and mature technology, Conexon can simply take its existing architecture and provision across all IMS compliant services and devices as shown in the diagram below.
