IP Multimedia Subsystem(IMS) is emerging as the key platform for delivering and converging all IP services and applications over multiple broadband access networks including cable, fixed line and wireless. With its core expertise in the provisioning and management of IP services across multiple technologies, Interactive Enterprise is suitably poised to deliver on the significant benefits IMS aims to provide to service providers and subscribers.

Personalized & Feature Rich Experience
Conexon's IMS platform is designed to deliver IP services under a unified architecture across multiple network types including wireless and fixed lines no matter where or when subscribers use these IP services. It enables a more personalized and feature rich experience for the subscriber allowing communication across a combination of voice, data, and video services. The Conexon IMS platform also provides an easy and seamless migration from traditional networks to an all IP network for the service provider.

Horizontal Based Architecture
Under the Conexon IMS architecture, the procedures for setting up and running services can be reused across multiple IP services, substantially cutting down on the resources, cost and complexity of supporting multiple processes and components. One of the most attractive features of IMS is its common horizontal based architecture used for all services, eliminating the cumbersome and complex "stovepipe" architecture that exists in many networks today.

Provisioning & Management
Conexon is an ideal architecture to take advantage of the functionality and design offered under IMS. With a horizontal based architecture, Conexon uses the same provisioning and management platform for all IP services. There is no need to build out a separate platform for each type. As IMS becomes a more mainstream and mature technology, Conexon can simply take its existing architecture and provision across all IMS compliant services and devices as shown in the diagram below. This is an important consideration for service providers today as they look to invest in new provisioning and management solutions that can easily migrate to new IMS applications when needed, protecting existing investment and cutting down on the cost and time to support new IMS-based services.
