Cable Labs
Founded in 1988 by members of the cable television industry, Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs®) is a non-profit research and development consortium that is dedicated to pursuing new cable telecommunications technologies and to helping its cable operator members integrate those technical advancements into their business objectives. Interactive Enterprise participates in various CableLabs initiatives including the PacketCable CMS Provisioning Initiative.

PacketCable is a CableLabs-led initiative aimed at developing interoperable interface specifications for delivering advanced, real-time multimedia services over two-way cable plant. PacketCable networks will use Internet protocol (IP) technology to enable a wide range of multimedia services, such as IP telephony, multimedia conferencing, interactive gaming, and general multimedia applications efficiently and economically using a single high-speed, quality-of-service (QoS)-enabled broadband architecture.

Broadband Content Delivery Forum
The Broadband Content Delivery Forum (BCD Forum) is an independent, non-profit trade association that addresses both the technology and business issues affecting the end to end delivery of broadband content and services to consumers and business members.
DSL Forum
DSL Forum is a consortium of nearly 200 leading industry players covering telecommunications, equipment, computing, networking and service provider companies. Established in 1994, the Forum continues its drive for a global mass market for DSL broadband, to deliver the benefits of this technology to end users around the world over existing copper telephone wire infrastructures.
National Cable Television Association
The National Cable and Telecommunications Association, formerly the National Cable Television Association, is the principal trade association of the cable television industry in the United States. Founded in 1952, NCTA's primary mission is to provide its members with a strong national presence by providing a single, unified voice on issues affecting the cable and telecommunications industry.

Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers is a nonprofit professional association dedicated to advancing the careers of cable telecommunications professionals and serving the industry through excellence in professional development, information and standards. Since 1969, SCTE has continually expanded its resources and services to meet the changing needs of its members in a rapidly evolving industry.
